Dear T1 Latham- 2016

LI: To reflect on personal goals set in term 1.

Dear Term 1 Latham,
I showed confidence and sportsmanship this year. I presented every week with confidence and could speak very clearly into the microphone! I reached my yearly goal of becoming a leader and helping people with computers and technology. I entered a movie competition and reached a great position. I can’t believe how fast this year has come and I am really excited to start college next year. Even if I didn’t reach 1st place in my goal, I am willing to try again next year with Edgewaters film club! I am really happy I reached 500 blog posts this year,
see you again sometime.
From Term 4 Latham- 2016

I wrote this letter to my term 1 self and explained how the year went this year and how I reached my yearly goal of becoming a manaiakalani leader.

ANZAC Letter.

We had to write a letter from the eyes of the ANZAC soldiers in the trenches. We researched what it was like in the trenches and I wrote this letter. We wrote notes and read the diary of Captain Charlie May which you can read for yourself here: LINK

Letter To Term 1 Me!

LI: To reflect on personal goals set in term 1.

Dear Term 1 Latham,

Didn’t I do well this year! I have gained confidence and I have limited my time in the sick bay! I have participated in sports like soccer, hockey, cricket and much more. This year we have been doing lots of great things we even started  by getting these badges called CARE awards. Head leader nominations are coming up and i’m really excited to see how that goes. Hopefully I get nominated for head boy! I have gotten certificates in assembly, and prize giving is coming up which is exciting! Maybe i’ll get an award! I’ve improved a lot in maths, but i’m still working on my multiplication. I have had a crazy but awesome year and have achieved my goals! See you next year,

Thank you Letter

Dear Dad.

Thank you for taking up your time and coming on camp with me!  You danced at the concert, you told us things about the Hunua Ranges and you made everyone laugh. In the mornings I would look back when we did aerobics and see you doing the moves to the songs! You poured everybody water and helped with a lot of things. People would ask me “Is that your dad?” and I was proud to say yes. Sometimes I would get embarrassed until everybody was laughing their heads off. You came to every activity with my group and when I did the high ropes you encouraged me and I felt better. You were brave and did the high ropes in my harness. You were an awesome helper and everybody enjoyed having you there. Without you there camp wouldn't have been as much fun!

From Latham
